Essay

It has been established that the systems of paleolow and paleorift structures of the Late Proterozoic are confined to the tectono-magmatic suture zones of linking of different age structure-substance complexes of crystal basement where tectonic movements and active volcanism occurred many times during a long period of geological time. Block upwarping of the Middle Proterozoic are also controlled by these structures in the centre of which the massifs of rapakivi were formed and compensation troughs filled by products of crust decay of volcano-plutonic association and volcanic buildings from the suture zones are situated on the periphery of this structures. The debris with diamonds, gold, zircon and other minerals were transported to the troughs. Belokorovichska and Vil'chanska paleolows, which refer to the system of negative structures of Ovruch paleorift, for the first time where characterized as compensation troughs of tension that formed around Korostensky block upwarping in the Middle Proterozoic.The debris of basal horizont of the Lowerbilokorovichska formation of Topil'nyanska group is considered as a relic of Middle Proterozoic preplate sedimentary cover. The subsidence of the Ukrainian Shield that began in the Riphean caused the manifestation of the riftogenesis, renewal of marine regime in its territory and forming of big paleorift structures, graben-synclines and lows that were superimposed to the basement. The Ovruch graben-syncline of latitude trend and negative structures of Rostov bench, studied in the process of investigations, are the examples of such lows. In the rocks that fills negative paleostructures of the Late Proterozoic, the mineral occurrences and deposits of the clastic type (diamonds, gold, tin and other), as well as of the hydrothermal type, are concentrated. The latter was caused by the mobilization of ore substance and its removing with pore dissolves (copper, gold, silver, spar and others).
