Chermoshentseva N. Chermoshentseva N.M. S. Y. Boroviy as a researcher of the History of Ukraine

The dissertation is focused on analysis of the scientific heritage of S. Boroviy on the history of Ukraine. Based on the analysis of the historiography of the issue as well as the wide range of sources, analysis of the scientific heritage of the historian the main directions of historical researches of the scientist were determined..The analysis of the concept of the history of Jewish people was done. The works of S. Boroviy on the history of the Southern Ukraine were systemized. The contribution and the impact of the scientific works of the researcher in the development of various issues of Ukrainian history were determined and the perspectives of the further use of these works were defined. The creative biography of the researcher was reconstructed; the factors that influenced the genesis and development of the scientific interests of S. Boroviy were explored. The connections of the scientific researchers of the historian and the work conditions in various life periods were established. Pedagogical and organizational activity of the scientist was analyzed; the list of his works was made.
