Essay

The thesis is dedicated to research of contacts between ancient Korean and ancient Japanese languages in a period between V and X centuries. The primary object of thesis is the research of actual results of linguistic influence of ancient Korean language upon ancient Japanese language, especially the research of those elements of ancient Korean language, which can be found in ancient Japanese literature, which is currently available to modern researchers. The thesis contains a version of lexical and semantic analysis of elements of ancient Korean language, which were borrowed into ancient Japanese language during the period of active contacts between Korea and Japan in ancient times, as well as a description of historical events, which became a background for the process of linguistic influence of ancient Korean on ancient Japanese language.
