Essay

The thesis is devoted to the investigation of icing and wind effects on an actual operation of antenna towers and to the determination of the coefficient µ2. There was created a system of fundamental relations and an algoritm of solving the equatiens of the first and second halves of the common system characteriging the conditions of similarity of the model and full scale processes of cloud drops precipetation was synthesized. There were determined the scale velocity and wind direction, cloud drop diameter, cloud water content, surrounding air temperature, a shape size and testing time factors. There was created an experimental plant, an algorithm, and an automated complex to simulate icing and wind effects on plane elements which make it possible to modify scale velocity and wind direction factors, cloud drop diameter, cloud water content, surrouding air temperature, shape simulating icing deposits on the antenna tower plane elements resulted in the icing factors µ2 for wind directions 90 and 45. There was found ont that the most dangerous wind direction under icing and wind effects on antenna towers is the direction at an angle of 90. The antenna tower AT - 60 was theoretically and experimentally investigated under icing and wind effects to determine its movements. When carrying out certification tests on antenna towers under icing and wind effects a design sheme was experimentally proved and verified at the dynamic analysis of the antenna towers and natural ascillations was obtained. There were developed methods of designing antenna towers under icing and wind effects regarding the icing factors µ2 obtained.
