Essay

The object is clinical and genetic polymorphism of CF cases. The aim is to determine the influence of genetic and epigenetic factors on functional status of pancreas in patients with cystic fibrosis and on course of the disease in general. The main methods are molecular -genetic, biochemical, instrumental ones. New data about influence of genetic and epigenetic factors on functional status of pancreas in patients with cystic fibrosis and on course of the disease in general have been established. It has been identified for the first time CFTR2721 del11 gene mutations for patients from Central and Eastern Europe. A scheme of individualized programmes of therapeutic conduct and personified monitoring plans, based upon nutritive status of patients achieved (as main index of compensation level in a cystic fibrosis patients) is suggested.
