Yushchishin O. Ethno-confessional modus by works of Ivan Vyshenskyy and them reflecting in native problematical polemic XI – early XVII centuries.

This dissertation is the complete religion and philosophical research sense to ethno-confessional modus of polemical works by Ivan Vyshenskyy like model and method of reflection for main aspects of Orthodox-Catholic debate by XI – early XVII centuries. Comparative analysis that author used in her work gives a possibility to study the problematic theme by different anti-Catholic literary monuments that were written in period of Beresteian union (1596). The author studied a connection this literary material with native polemic tradition by previous centuries. This enable us to analyze the complex of Orthodox-Catholic questions that was actual for theological reflection of Ukrainian polemists. The author turn to conclusion that in spite of radical confessional creed and monastic-ascetic moods, ethno-confessional modus of polemic heritage by Ivan Vyshenskyy reflected the dominant pattern of Orthodox theologization and acatholic inclination of believers.
