Austenitic stainless steel alloyed by yttrium additions. Increase cavitation-corrosion resistance in the 92% sulphuric acid. Methods of investigation: determination of chemical composition, mechanical properties, cavitation-corrosion durability, metallographic, petrographic and microdiphractional analysis. Fundamentals of structure formation have been developed, fracture probable mechanisms have been determined. Introduced into practice with economical effect of 104,855 thousand UAH. Field of application is production of rare metalls and chemical manufacture.
