Essay

Peculiarities of interaction of carbon-containing materials (first of all, thermally exfoliated graphite) with 3-nanosecond UV (337 nm) laser irradiation was studied in the thesis on example of binuclear complexes of Cu (II) with organic ligands. The comparisons of mass spectrometric investigation of these complexes by methods of laser desorption/ionization, matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization, graphite-assisted laser desorption/ionization and mass spectrometry with fast atom bombardment and electrospray ionization are presented. Variation of peak intensities of main complex fragments allowed to clarify characteristic features of ion-molecular, first of all proton-donor and proton-acceptor, reactions in the ion source of mass spectrometer. Numerical estimations of local electric field on the surface of ellipsoidal graphite particle were done and it was shown that that in the vicinity of surface plasmon fre-quencies the amplification factor of local electromagnetic field scan reach 5-13.
