Ivchenko Y. The analysis of gender policy in Ukraine from the point of view of philosophy and law

A complex investigation of gender policy in Ukraine from the point of view of philosophy and law is conducted in this thesis. The research is devoted to a scientific analysis of such phenomenon as gender equality and its place in the state policy of Ukraine. For this purpose the principle of gender equality in the legislation of Ukraine was investigated and legal means and mechanisms of sex discrimination overcoming were stated. The content and the directions of the main international law documents which define the standards of gender equality were enlighted. The place of gender question in the sphere of organs of internal affairs activity was analysed and the specificity of gender approach in the educational process of the departmental establishments of the Ministry of Internal affairs was defined.
