Zhydovs’ka-Kuryl’tsiv N. Efficiency of functioning of sugar and beet sub – complex of agribusiness.

Object of research:. economic relations formed in the process of functioning and development of sugar-beets sub-complex of agro-industrial complex. Aim of research: to work out theoretic and methodologic basics and practical recommendations concerning improvement of economic mechanism of sugar-beets sub-complex functioning. Methods: economic and statistical; method of generalization and comparison; method of systemal approach; calculative and constructional method; graphical method; method of SWOT-analysis. Theoretical and practical results: the research worked out ideals, suggestions and recommendations for objective studies of conditions and results of activities and relations of producers and processers of sugar resources. It also developed measures for the perspective which will allow to raise the sugar-beets sub-complex profitability. Scientific novelty: the research is the first in working out the system of regulation of market economic relations of agro-complexes and ventures processing raw materials based on the principles of equity, parity and equitably formulated prices. It grounds rational boundaries of raw materials zones for each sugar mills which may support in developing various approaches in regional agrarian policies and formulating agro-industrial structures. The research improved scientific basics of the complex estimation of sugar-beets sub-complex state and the state of its ventures. It systemized the parameters of industrial, integrating, expenditures and price-forming aspects of regional sugar market which may provide regions with precise estimation as well as with their supply with sugar products and their export perspectives. Technical and technological system of growing raw materials got here its further development and improvement. Sugar purchases and selling’s of processing ventures got the perspective to be improved through formation of direct relations between producers and processers. Theoretical and methodological approaches for formation of demand and supply at sugar market, the system of indicators, balances, boundaries of production, demand and consumption are also worked out in the research. Level of introduction: the results of research were used by the Main Board of agro-industrial development of Ternopil regional state administration and the Board of agro-industrial development of Zboriv district state administration. The research’s positions and ideals are also used in working out of the strategy of Ternopil sugar-beets sub-complex and strategy of development of the stock partnership «Chortkivs’kyi tsukrovyi zavod» (Chortkiv sugar mill) profitability Effectiveness: implementation of the research’s results may cause the increase of profitability of sugar-beets sub-complex functioning.
