Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of perinatal risk factors, clinical course and metabolic violations in anaerobic glycolysis, antioxidative protection and peroxide lipids oxidation, improvement of complex treatment with indomethacin in newborns with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. The univariate analysis was performed, and odds' ratio was calculated for the group of perinatal risk factors: abortions in anamnesis, absence of antenatal observation, smoking, acute respiratory infection during pregnancy, twins pregnancy, buttock presentation, large fetal sizes, pregnancy interruption threat, pre-eclampsia, hydramnion, chronic fetal hypoxia, long period after amniotic fluid discharge, premature placenta separation, acute intranatal asphyxia, caesarian section. There was proved that degree of metabolic viola¬tions in anaerobic glycolysis and peroxide lipids oxidation correlates with the degree of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. There was confirmed that use of indomethacin in complex treatment reduces the period of clinical manifestation, decreases the degree of metabolic violations, terms of treatment, mortality, it is safe in early neonatal period
