The thesis is dedicated to the solution of urgent scientific task: increasing of efficiency of diagnostics and treatment of pancreas exocrine function abnormality by means of discrimination of the most self-descriptive laboratory-tool criteria of lesion and improvement of detected abnormality. 107 patients with chronic gastroduodenal and hepatobiliary pathology aged 3 to 18 and 30 practically healthy children who made up a control group were examined in the course of the research. Specific methods of the investigation were used: provocative test with proserin, determination of level of elastase-1, interleukine-6, cryoglobulins in blood. Functional and subclinical types of pancreas exocrine function insufficiency were established in children with chronic gastroduodenal and hepatobiliary pathology. Pancreatine enzymatic drug were prescribed for correction of detected abnormalities.Differential treatment dependent on characteristics of insufficiency of pancreas exocrine function (functional or subclinical) was attended by positive clinical dynamics and provided amylase content normalization in blood and urine, was attended by essential descent of serum elastase-1.
