Object - processes of designing and updating of technical production; the purpose - increase of efficiency of processes of working out of engineering specifications at creation of samples of new technics at the expense of automation of procedures of search on the basis of information use about similar production; methods - methods of the system analysis, model and methods of formation of databases and knowledge, a method of objectively focused programming; novelty - the method of selection, an estimation and classification of set of analogues of technical production for the first time is developed, information technologies of management by process of a choice and an estimation of similar design decisions by working out of a subsystem of a choice and an estimation of analogues of technical production on the basis of the saved up experience are improved; it is introduced results of dissertational work are introduced at the enterprises of Kharkov.
