Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the development of methodology-theoretical regulations and practical recommendations concerning the reformation of operation mechanism of the passenger sector at long distance in the modern market conditions. The question that is investigated is being solved simultaneously in two directions: reformation of present organizational structure of passenger sector operation, providing introduction of structural reform of rail transport according to any model; improvement of managerial decisions concerning the efficiency of passenger car utilization due to new operation and maintenance methods.
