Essay

The present work outlines the principal Tendencies in the development of chamber vocal-instrumental genres in the creative practice of the representatives of Lviv and Katowice schools of composers in the last third of the XX - early XXI centuries. Aesthetic openness of Western Ukrainian and Polish traditions of national mentality, the depth and systematic nature of their cultural links, intensity of assimilation processes embracing the wide spectrum of European spheres of influence have been underlined.
