Essay

The mixture of polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes, containing hydroxyl and tert-amine groups in organic shell of the silsesquioxane core (POSS-M), was synthesized and described in detail. The methods of the synthesis of compounds with different function groups and their combination based on POSS-M were developed. It was established that the chemical nature of incorporated function groups considerably influences on structure and properties of synthesized compounds. The methods of the synthesis of new types nanostructured oligo- and polyurethanes were developed. The relationship between the synthesis conditions and the structure of obtained nanocomposites was determined. The physical-mechanical, surface active properties, stability to thermal destruction, ionic conductivity of synthesized compounds were explored depending on their chemical constitution.
