The dissertation covers the research of the problems of generation, use and distribution of profit of agricultural businesses of Ukraine to ensure their financial security. The economic content and nature of financial security is developed, the role of profit in its provision is defined and the profit classification of agricultural businesses is determined. The profit generating algorithm that takes into account the peculiarities of agricultural business operations which meet the management requirements for such companies are offered and it allows to reflect information and provide their financial security to the most extent. The system of profitability indices that should be used to support financial security of agricultural companies is determined. Existing pricing methods as a tool of profitable performance in agriculture are generalized. There is a notice that it is impossible to maintain the certain level of financial security of agricultural businesses without appropriate government intervention. The recommendations of improving profit distribution process on behalf of all operating participants to maintain financial security of agricultural businesses are elaborated.
