In the dissertation the research of criminal executive characteristic of the convicted and its value for the basic ways of correction and resocialization in the maximal security level penal colonies application is maid. The analysis of criminal executive characteristic of convicted origin and formation is maid, its functions and structure which allows to form the representation of punishment serving and implementation process motion in the penal colonies of this kind are determined.
