The research results in the problem of evaluation and efficiency of the use of land resources at the present stage of carrying out the agrarian reform. Theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of efficient farming on the base of rational land use are shown. Peculiarities of land use in agriculture are investigated and the process of establishing relations of ownership on land in our country are analyzed. Methodological approaches to land price evaluation in market relations are given. Specific peculiarities use of land be discovered in agricultural farm and the process of development treatment ownship on the land was consideret in the Poltava region. Tendencies of increasing economic efficiency of the use of land resources on the base of optimizing the branch structure of production and ways of intensive farming are grounded taking into consideration the reproduction of soil fertility and market demands of market. The ways of improvement economic and legal mechanism of regulation of land ownship were considered.
