Research object: the social-political activity, the scientific-theoretical inheritace of S.Efremov; Purpose: to show the social-political activity, to analyze the political ideas and theoretical doctrines of S.Efremov; Methods: verification of a primary source, problem-chronologic, biographic, the textology analyze; Results and novelty: the complex study of political ideas of S.Efremov is first carried out, originality of his researches in the political theory is exposed, in parti- cular forming of ideology of Ukrainian national motion, a place of scientist in the history of national political thought is definite; Purview: the education, the education activity and scientific activity.
