The Dissertation is the complex research of the problems of increasing the effi-ciency of criminal law norms in the prevention of criminality. The conceptions and components of efficiency of the criminal law norm in the prevention of criminality are being analyzed. The criminological substantiation of some kinds of criminal law norms and their efficiency in the prevention of criminality, as well as the analysis of influence of changes in criminal legislation on the efficiency of the pre-vention of criminality is given.
