Yakovets L. Monasteries and cathedrals of Ukraine as embodiment Christian written culture.

The thesis is an integral philosophical religion research in analysis substance activity of monasteries and cathedrals in sphere of forming and development of Christian written culture. An integral and system analysis of role of monasteries, and cathedrals in forming of manuscript Slavonig church book were carried out in this rescarch and was grasped the idea of substance, the main tendencies towards forming and development printing of books in monasteries and cathedrals, was formed its meaning for further development of Christian written culture. Separate pages of bookprinting in Kyiv monasteries such as in Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra were reconstructed by reason of files research of Kyiv Central National Historical archives. Separate part of the thesis is dedicated to history of forming and development of libraries of monasteries and cathedrals, determination of the role in keeping and passing to the future generation memorandum of Christian written culture.
