Essay

The dissertation is devoted to study of clinical aspects of craniocerebral trauma at children, who had atrophic changes of the brain due to it's perinatal damage. At children with perinatal brain damage and craniocerebral trauma ther consciousness level was higher in three times comparatively with children without premorbid background (P<0,01). The frequency of unfavourable outcomes at children with the severe head trauma did not depend on the comorbidities but depended on the severity of the brain injury. 84,2% of children with the previous seizures developed recurrent attacks following the head injury (P<0,05). The cerebral atrophic changes were determined by the neurovisualization at children with perinatal damage according to the character of trauma and patient's age. There was a mild manifestation of focal and general cerebral disorders at children with the shunts for hydrocephalus. Outcomes at children with the cerebral athrophic changes depended on the severity of trauma, condition of liquor outflow and timely medical aid. Premorbid neurologic deficit at these patients was increased by the severe craniocerebral trauma. There was no difference between outcomes in the main and control groups (P>0,05).
