Subject of investigation - electromagnetic processes in pulsed sources of high voltage and strong current for electrophysical plants; goal of investigation - improvement of high-voltage plants that create strong electric and magnetic fields by way of increasing of the rate of change of pulses of voltages and currents; methods of investigation and equipment - physical and mathematical modeling, experimental investigations on full-scale specimens of sources; theoretical and practical results - practical recommendations for choice of "cut" time of discharging current of MPTM plants were proposed; analytical dependence of voltage pulse front duration of transformer source on commutation time of switch and damping factor was obtained; generator of high-voltage pulses of apparatus ADEMPT was improved, small-size high-voltage voltage source for electrotechnological plants for conversion of gaseous wastes was created; section, consisting of two improved Fitch generators working in series was developed; novelty- decreasing of mass-dimension indicators, increase of specific characteristics of pulsed high-voltage voltage sources, attainment of high pulsed currents nd negative pressure pulses; degree of introduction - the investigation results were introduced in laboratory of electrodynamic investigations on "Proton-21" (Kyiv), "ELGA" enterprise (Shostka, Sumy oblast), in RDI "Molniya" NTU "KHPI", at Department of Engineering Electrophysics of NTU "KHPI"; sphere of application - in improvement of MPTM plants, in creation and improvement of high-voltage electrophysical plants
