Kolomijtseva O. Psychological peculiarities of the emotional perception of music by the intellectually backward children

Master's thesis is devoted to the elaboration of the scientifically substantiated and practically valuable correction-developing system of work aimed at the activation of the intellectual work and emotional sphere of the intellectually backward teenagers in the process of their music-esthetical upbringing.The most important in the plane of correctional pedagogics psycho-pedagogical conditions of activating the intellectual work and emotional sphere of the intellectually backward children in the process of their music-esthetical upbringing during their Psychology classes were scientifically substantiated. In particular, the stage-by-stage formation of the emotional perception of music, were also paid attention to. Practical significance of the investigation lies in the fact that the peculiarities of the emotional perception of music revealed in the intellectually backward pupils may be used for the differential diagnostics of the psychological development of the above mentioned category of schoolchildren and for the elaboration of the psycho-pedagogical conditions that will contribute to the intensification of the correction-developing effect of teaching during the Psychology classes at the auxiliary school.
