Research object: the process of forming up the system of norms and standards of live materialized labour in crop production, identifying the systems interrelations and interdependence of the above systems separate elements witch determinate the quantitie and qualitative changes in the agricultural production. Research purpose: the substation of theoretical, methodological, methodical, scientific and applied aspects of forming up the system of norms and standarts of live and materialized labour in crop production. Research technignes: dialectical, abstract and logical, historic and economic, sociometric survey, grouping, comparative, graphic, extrapolation, variant approach, calculation and construction. Theoretical and practical results: the investigation results highlighted in the thesis can be used for: solving the problems of the regulatory and information support of the crop production branch at agricultural period, determining the basic methodical directions of standardizing live and materializedlabour. The authors research projects are notable for their methodical and applied orientation and can be used in all oblasts of Ukraine. Among them one can find the SRI “Ukragropromproduktyvnist” ; the collected norms of the fuel production and consummation rate for the new machinery under mechanized field work in the soil basic cultivation, seeding maintenance and harvesting of farm crops; methods of the rational use of labour and material recources. Scientific novelty:The author is the first to substantiate the methodological principles, scientific and applied aspects of forming up the norms and standards of live and materialized labour in the sphere of crop production as a system which is formed up within a particular institutional environment under the ever increasing information and telecommunication support. The author also succeeded in improving: the determination of the notion of “work standardizing”, the classification of norms and standards; the methodical approach to standardizing work in farm machinery maintrance. Further developed were the methodical approach to the production cost standard of plant produce, as well as to the substation of the necessity of automating the normative system in crop production through creating automated jobs of rate-setters. Degree of introduction: the research results are accepted for the introduction by the SRI “Ukragropromproduktyvnist” , the head office of agroindustrial development of Zhytomyr oblast state administration, Zhytomyr National Agroecological University. Efficiency: the results of the investigation form up the system of norms and standards of live and materialized labour in crop production at farm enterprises.
