Essay

The thesis presents the results of using absorbent "Sorbogel" in the complex treatment of localized puru-lent processes of the oral cavity. The efficacy of the treatment was controlled by the data of clinical and laboratory, biophysical, biochemical, cytological and cytochemical investigations. Most informative indices of assessing the development of the process, which can be used to prognosticate and correct the treatment were obtained. The observation of the patients on the 3rd day of the treatment demonstrated more positive results in the patients with complex application of the sorption therapy than those in the patients taking antibiotics. De-creased indices of systemic and local thermometry, im-proved indices of immunity, normalized Garcavi quo-tient compared with those of the second group were de-termined.
