Tersina I. Adjectival phrases in Potteriana: systematic and idiolect features.

Adjectival phrases have proved to be the active structural element of Potteriana with definite and varied semantic and stylistic meaning. Structural and semantic features of traditional models of the adjectival phrases were determined. We have differentiated basic structures of idiolect adjectival phrases. Adjectival phrases are defined to be a source of various notion conceptualization and are used to picture various aspects of living and non-living worlds, as a rule, with negative connotation. The role of idiolect adjectival phrases as the effective stylistic means was defined. Basic phonetic, lexical and functional means, used in the structure of adjectival phrases for successful realization of the author's aim were determined.
