Dymchenko N. Cultural and educative activity of institutions and establishments of culture in the Dniester region of the Republic of Moldova during the post soviet period (1991-2006).

The dissertation is devoted to studying the problem of peculiarities of cultural and educative development in the Dniester region of Moldova during the post soviet period (1991 - 2006). For the first time the cultural and educative development in the Dniester region during 1991-2006s has been investigated in the dissertation. The cultural and educational establishments' creation and formation in Pridnestrovie during the post soviet period is analyzed as prevalent in the cultural development of the region. The experience and prospects of activities for cultural and educational establishments like clubs, museums and libraries are examined. The role of cultural and educational establishments as centers to preserve and revive the historical and cultural heritage of the peoples of the Dniester region is revealed. Much attention in the research is given to the development of national societies of culture, creative unions and amateur arts. For the first time cultural and educative activities of the Ukrainiansin the Dniester region has been studied. The work is done on the basis of rich historical and cultural, archival and local history material.
