Gusakovska T. Management of the intellectual property of an enterprise

Object of research: process of the intellectual property management of a machine-building enterprise; Objective of research: elaboration of theoretical-practical statements and scientific-practical recommendations about management of creating and using of intellectual property of a machine-building enterprises, improving of the organizing-economic provision of this process; Research methods and apparatus: methods of analysis and synthesis, observation, comparison, generalization and formalization – for analysis of statement apparatus and present methods of approach to management of intellectual property, for elaboration of the system of management of intellectual property of enterprise and it’s economic appraisement; methods of expert appraisements – for determination of specific gravity of indexes of appraisement of the system of management of intellectual property of the enterprise and for appraisement of factors of influence to the standard of the profitable of objects of intellectual property; correlation-regressive analysis – for substantiation of dependence of level of commercial potential of the intellectual product on the time of it’s using beginning; analysis of hierarchies – for elaboration of the machinery of decision-making in process of management of the intellectual property portfolio of the enterprise; Theoretic and practical results: economic contents of statements “intellectual capital”, “intellectual property”, “intellectual assets” were increased, these statements were examined from system positions with attention to connection between them; methodical approach to the appraisement of dependence of the level of commercial potential of the intellectual product on the time of beginning of it’s using on the ground of analysis of the influence of appropriate factors on the dynamics of profitable, it allows to increase profit of enterprise from using intellectual products; the system of management of intellectual property of enterprise were increased as a part of the system of management of enterprise, it allows to manage intellectual property more effectively because of close connection with other components of the system of management of enterprise; methodical recommendations for economic appraisement of the system of management of intellectual property of enterprise were improved, they allow to make complex analysis of functioning of the system of management of intellectual property in general and in it’s individual components on the ground of calculation of integral idexes; Novelty: methodical approach to decision-making in choosing the most effective course of using of objects of intellectual property, that apply the method of analysis of hierarchies, was offered for the first time, it allows to find the most important ways of commercialization of objects of intellectual property by means of comparing in pairs alternatives in advantages and disadvantages with attention to their importance; Level of implementation: Joint stock Association «Poltava Turbomechanical Plant» (Poltava), International institute of compressor and power engineer (Sumy), Joint stock Association «SKB Ukrelectromash» (Kharkiv), in the academic process of NTU «KPI» in the teaching of the courses «Innovation management», «Economics of innovational enterprise», «Economic and law problems of intellectual property»; Sphere of application: management of the state administration and the Ministry of industrial policy of Ukraine, machine building plants, the academic process.
