The thesis is dedicated to study of constitutional law views of Stanislav Dnistryansky. The classification of the sources and historiography of study of S. Dnistryansky's scientific heritage is made in the work, theoretical and methodological grounds of his constitutional law views and ideas are determined, and also his views in respect of the following issues were analyzed: the place and the role of constitution and of a constitutional state; the understanding of such constitutional law institutes, as democracy (the power of people), human rights and freedoms, legal status of ethnic minorities, the essence and the role of a parliament, of executive and judicial powers, and of local (territorial) government. Also, the thesis describes the influence of past and current law and political ideas over constitutional law views of S. Dnistryansky, and determines the role and the place of the legal scholar's scientific heritage in the Ukrainian law science.
