Shvidchenko I. Freedom of Religion as Object of Criminal-Legal Defending

The dissertation is devoted to the complex research of criminal-legal defending of freedom of religion in Ukraine. Thehistorical analysis of genesis of norms which set responsibility for the violation of freedom of religion in a criminal legislationis conducted. The social conditionality of offence against freedom of religion's criminalization is found out. The structure ofpublic relations which are the object of crimes against freedom of religion is considered. Objective and subjective signs ofcrimes against freedom of religion are investigated. Regulative and prophylactic essence of criminal law in the sphere offreedom of religion is found out. On the basis of the research's results the scientifically grounded suggestions directed to theimprovement of criminal legislation of Ukraine in the sphere of providing freedom of religion are advanced.
