Kosenko O. Source and Information Potential of the Personnel Archive Funds.

Thesis is devoted to a complex research of the source and information potential of the personnel archive funds as an integral component of the archive heritage of the Ukrainian people. An essence and a correlation of meanings of "personnel archive funds", "documents of personnel origin" has been determined here; main stages of formation of personnel funds in the structure of the National Archive Funds of Ukraine were separated there; scientific and theoretical as well methodical fundamentals of the personnel archive funds formation have been grounded there as well a necessity of their scientific reconsideration and improvement has been proved there. On a base of a wide circle of biographic, creative, epistolary, service documents a structure of the significant figures of the Ukrainian science and culture, especially of historians, namely - V.M Bazylevych, M.M. Bubnov, M.P. Vasylenko, I.M. Kamanin, O.S. Kompan, Yu.A. Kulakovskyy, V.L. Modzalevskyy and others was considered there. A normative and legal base of using of the source and information potential of the personnel archive funds was opened up there as well an experience of making public with regard to their documents and materials, including the Internet network has been summarized there as well recommendations were given, which are directed at an improvement of these processes.
