The thesis devote to the questions of weed infestation and improvement of system for established vineyards protection in the South-west Steppe of Ukraine. 103 types of weeds (28 botanical families) are present on vineyards sprouting on this territory. Weeds are extended on vineyards: creeping thistle Cirsium arvense L., field bindweed Convolvulus arvensis L., leafy spurge Euphorbia virgata W. K., common amaranth Amaranthus retroflexus L., canadian fleabane Erigeron canadensis L., common cocklebur Xantium strumarium L., green bristle-grass Setaria viridis L. In a southern part of region is extended jonson-grass Sorghum halepense L., bermuda grass Cynodon dactylon L. In a central part of region is extended common couch-grass Agropyrum repens L.Volumes of absorption by weeds on vineyards on an extent of vegetation of an accessible moisture are defined in dynamics: to 60,5 %, nitrogen connections: 244,9 kg/hectares, phosphorus: 132,5 kg/hectares, potassium: 313,9 kg/hectares. The effect of application of mixture herbicides Raundap, 48 % a.s. with the adjuvant Trend 90 on perennial weeds in vineyards is certain. A suggested system of protection of vineyards stands from weeds guarantees the increase of profitability by 50,7 %, comparing the traditional system.
