Subject of study: thyroid cancer incidence in all age groups of the population living in territories of Ukraine, Belarus, Russia afected by radioactive iodine due to the Chernobyl accident. The goal: to determine regularities iof thyroid cancer incidence in the territories affected by radioactive iodine due to the Chernobyl accident; to estimate an influence of radioctive iodine in forming of thyroid cancer incidence rate. Methods: epidemiological, statistical, mathematical, map making. Comparative analysis of thyroid cancer incidence suggests the radiation excess of this pathology in majority of age groups (except 55 and older). In elder age groups radiation excess is characteristic by longer latency period. There is suggested a correlation between thyroid doses in age groups 1-18 at the moment of accident and thyroid cancer incidence rate in age group 20-39 in 2006 .
