Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the experimental substantiation of development of a complex probiotic preparation, included on bacilli and lactobacilli with a wide spectrum of antagonistic activity towards opportunistic microorganisms. Based on the data of quantitative and qualitative content of intestinal microflora of newborns with high perinatal risk, levels and profiles of antibiotic resistance of opportunistic strains isolated, the necessity of probiotic preparations with a wide spectrum of antagonistic activity as a part of complex treatment means was shown. A nutrient medium is developed for the first time and the optimum growth conditions for probiotic bacterial strains in mono- as well as mixed cultures are defined. The establishment of symbiotic relationship between strains upon joint cultivation was shown. The effectiveness of a mixed culture of bacilli and lactobacilli that was obtained in the developed medium by means of deep cultivation as well as their composition grown separately with the following association was experimentally shown in vitro and in vivo.
