Essay

Object – economic processes, aimed at improving economic mechanism of resource saving at transport enterprises. Aim – development of technical approaches and theoretical ground for developing economic mechanism of resource-saving efficiency at transport enterprises. Methods – logical and historical, analysis and synthesis of results, supervising, comparing and analysis of empirical data, grouping, correlation and regressive analysis, and graphic methods. Novelty – theoretical foundation and practical necessity to develop economic mechanism of resource-saving efficiency in the signalling and communication branch, as a method to solve the major task – higher competitiveness of infrastructure in the branch. Results – it has been improved the methods and system of characteristics for evaluating the efficiency of economic resource-saving mechanism in the signalling and communication branch, which unlike the existing ones, provide the calculation of economic efficiency in related branches and make it possible to influence, directly as well as indirectly, the performance of railway transport enterprises; scientific approaches in resource-saving technologies classification, which take into account present needs of the enterprises and railway industry, and make it possible to stabilize their work during the financial and economic crisis; explain the aim to deploy resource saving, which unlike the existing ones take into account optimization of all expenditures based on improved technological processes, technical approach to evaluation of economic mechanism of efficiency for resource-saving technologies in the signalling and communication branch, which take into account integral index (rating) of competitiveness for resource-saving technology and defines possibilities for careful selection of technological innovations in the branch.
