Essay

Investigation task: the improvement of technology of electrochemical synthesis of functional coatings of cobalt and nickel with tungsten alloys to obtain deposits with high corrosion resistance, catalytic activity, microhardness and coercitive force. Quantitative electrolyte composition as well as deposition modes were grounded to obtain coatings of different component content, morphology, structure and properties. Anodic current mode providing cobalt and tungsten dissolution was established. The influence both of stationary and pulse electrolysis modes onto composition and current efficiency of alloys was determined. Corrosion resistant of electrochemically deposited coatings in acidic medium was determined to exceed substantially its value for neutral and alkaline. The alloy microhardness exceeds that of system individual components. Magnetic properties were defined to be present for synthesized deposits. The coatings are introduced as corrosion resistive and microhard onto pump equipment. Research technique: complex of physical-chemical and electrochemical methods. Sphere of application: hydrogen electrochemical synthesis, gaseous wastes purification, corrosion protection, microhardness increase.
