The thesis is devoted to the most effective ways of crisis management at the enterprise within transformational economy. The terms 'crisis', 'crisis management' were defined. The enterprise crisis management mechanisms were theoretically substantiated and methodologically developed. The latest approaches to crisis management have been analyzed. The impact of machine-building enterprises on crisis management within transformational economy was researched. The factors of the enterprise crisis in machine-building sector were explained. The algorithm of the crisis diagnostics at the enterprise based on proactive and active analysis was developed. The mechanism of realization of the crisis management in the machine-building sector was developed under the effect of 'prolong shock'. Practical recommendations to detecting the most effective crisis management means have been developed.
