Quantum confinement effects were revealed for CsPbCl3 nanocrystals embedded into KCl matrix. The formation of СsSnBr3 crystalline microphase was registered during long term annealing of СsBr:Sn (1 mol.%) crystal and due to a decomposition of methastable Сs4SnBr6 compound. The energy transfer to СsSnBr3 microcrystals was revealed to be due to the reabsorption of Sn2+-vc- single centers emission, nearactivator excitons and self-trapped excitons of CsBr host. It was shown the formation of K2LaCl5:Ce, K2LaCl5:Pr microcrystals embedded into KCl host and the LaCl3:Ce microcrystals incorporated into NaCl. It was established that embedded crystals preserve the luminescent-scintillation parameters of single crystal analogs. The scheme of scintillation mechanism was proposed for such composite materials. The decreasing of the contribution of slow components in the decay kinetics of Ce3+ luminescence that was registered for the composites points out to the decreasing of the traps concentration for charge carriers in microcrystals relatively to single crystals.
