Contact interaction of elastic isotropic solids with conformable boundaries provided lack of direct mechanical contact through local zones. To study contact interaction of solids with conformable boundaries with allowance for liquid- and/or gas-filled intersurface gaps caused by small sloping grooves. To develope the methods of solution to plane contact problems of elasticity theory for semi-infinite bodies taking into account capilary effects in the gas-liquid filler of the intersurface gaps.The technique is based on reducing the posed contact problems to a singular integral equation. The influence of pressure of the filler, surface tension of the liquid, shape of the grooves on the contact behavior of solids having conformable boundaries has been analyzed. Areas of application: geomechanics, machine building industry, biomechanics.
