The thesis is devoted to theoretical and prachical research into the field of state regulation of agriculture. It investigates the nature and specific features of state regulation of the agricultural sector, pricing policy on the agricultural market, and works out methods and principles of state regulation in agriculture. The author makes an all - round analysis of the state of the regional agricultural production, assesses its resource provision, identifies challenges, trends and regularities in the development of agriculture. The investigation also covers the development of investment in the regional agricultural sector and evaluation of the main directions and level of budget support of agriculture. The study identifies the priorities of the state policy in the sphere of investment and innovation in agriculture; it substantiates ways and methods of improving state support of agricultural production, including state regional programs, and specifies strategies in the food market regulation.
