Object of researches - Of pure breed and crossbreed sheep of breed of olibs and askanian meet-wool Dnepropetrovsk's type. Purpose of researches - Conformity to the law of forming of productive and biological qualities of pure breed and crossbreed sheep of breed of olibs and askanian meet-wool Dnepropetrovsk's type in the conditions of central region of Ukraine. The methods of researches are biological, zootechnics, morphological, laboratory, biometric, analytical. Results of researches: 1. For a theory - First in Ukraine complex researches are conducted and comparative description of productive qualities of sheep of breed of olibs is given, askanian meet-wool breeds of Dnepropetrovsk's type as a modern gene pool at the inwardly pedigree breeding in combination with the rams of breed of olibs Canadian selection. 2. For practice - Researches confirmed possibility of the successful breeding of sheep of breed of olibs. The received results of researches have the important value for development of practical questions of the rational use of pure breed producers of breed of olibs.
