Dissertation is devoted to the criminalistical and organizational problems of revelation, preliminary research and immobilizing of home-made explosive facilities. The scientific research discovers general theoretical theses touching the origin and development of criminal explosive facilities as the branch of criminal technical equipment methods and ways of application. The main reasons and aims of home-made explosive used by criminals are analysed so as the possibilities of identifying the criminal according the results of the crime scene examining are carried out when the home-made explosive devices are found. The principal idea of dissertation is the research and systematization of the well-known scientific and technical information that deals with explosive facilities and development of professional skills in the field of crime scene examination, revelation, research and destruction of home-made explosive devices. The methods of the revelation, preliminary research and immobilizing of home-made explosive facilities are worked out.
