Object: antimilitary novels "On the Western Front without Changes" by E.M.Remark, "Man and Arm", "Cyclone" by O.Honchar. Purpose: comparative reading of the antimilitary novels by E.M.Remark, by O.Honchar and investigation of typological peculiarities of its poetical paradigm, the definition of the nationally-artistical phenomena of Ukrainian and Germany prose of the XX cent. on the material of these authors' compositions. Practical value: research materials may be used on the main courses of the native and foreign literature, the theory of literature, in the process the writing of the scientifical works. Methods: historically-genetic and historically-functional, comparatively-historical and biographical.
