Essay

The object of investigation is the process of gas cleaning in the field of centrifugal forces. The purpose of investigation is the developing of straight-throw centrifugal separating elements (STCSE) with the wider range of gas and liquid load than the range of the contact-centrifugal separating elements by UkrNIIgas, the advancing of the method for calculation the degree of gas cleaning from liquid in the STCSE, and the obtaining of the criteria equation of local friction STCSE coefficient with axial-vaned and tangential twirlers. Methods of investigation are mathematical and physical modeling of droplet cleaning process in the STCSE. The developed STCSE performance range of gas velocity factor stands from 15 to 39 Pa^0.5 and specific irrigation density - up to 307 м^3/(м^2*h). The new method for calculation the degree of gas cleaning from liquid in the STCSE is developed. The criteria equation of local friction coefficient for the STCSE with eight inner diameter cylindrical pipe branch, with axial-vaned and tangential twirlers is obtained. Due to obtained results seven separators with 300, 500, 600, 800 and 1200 mm inner diameters and new STCSE were commissioned in the complex gas treating installations of "Kharkovgasproduction" and "Poltavagasproduction". That allowed to increase the quality of gas treating and obtain the additional quantity of liquid hydrocarbons. Gas industry.
