Essay

Object of research - newly detected sputum positive destructive pulmonary tuberculosis ; the purpose - improvement of efficacy of treatment of patients with newly detected smear positive pulmonary tuberculosis by development and assigning of the scheme of application of an interferon alpha - 2b; methods - clinical, X-ray, microbiological, biochemical, statistical; the novelty - it was established, that 51 % patients with newly detected pulmonary tuberculosis had delay bacteriological and radiological dynamics of tubercular process due to immunological disturbance in Т-, B- and phagocytogous links and misbalance of cytokines Th1/Th2, that requires the immune therapy with application of IFN, or IL-2. The application of an interferon alpha - 2b in complex treatment of the patients with failure of treatment with destructive pulmonary tuberculosis has resulted to improvement of a condition of an immune system and increase of efficiency of tuberculosis chemotherapy with shorten of tern of sputum conversion on 26,7 %, and increase of rate of adhesion of caverns on 21,5 %, which one for 1-2 months advance terms of an adhesion of caverns for the patients, which one receive standard treatment. The complex antituberculosis treatment with application of interferon alpha- 2b in patients with failure of treatment with destructive pulmonary tuberculosis and misbalance of cytokines Th1/Th2 allows to increase the cure rate in standard terms of retreatment to 70,0 % against 40,0 %.
