Essay

Piano music of the F. Poulenc is considered in dissertation in the background of national musical traditions. Considerable attention is resulted to argumentation of artistic value, consideration and analysis of features of piano reserve of composer in the deeply engrained artistic intercommunications with artistic properties of prede-cessors. There is presented in the work wide cut of the French culture in its history aspect and in a period contemporary directly to F. Poulenc.
