Essay

The thesis is dedicated to investigation of clinical and pathogenetic aspects of diagnostics and treatment optimization of chronic gastroduodenitis associated with Helicobacter pylori infection. There are results of clinical, laboratory and instrumental evaluation of 110 children with chronic gastroduodenitis associated with Helicobacter pylori infection. The peculiarities of clinical manifestation and clinical and endoscopic variants of chronic gastroduodenitis associated with Helicobacter pylori infection in conjunction with iron deficiency and/or latent iron deficiency with consideration of pepsinogen-1 levels, stomach acidity and the concentration of fucose in stomach. The diagnostic value of total antibodies to Cog A Helicobacter pylori antigen in serum is proved, high sensitivity and specificity of the method is proved as well. The advantage of consequent eradication therapy in chronic gastroduodenitis associated with Helicobacter pylori is proved.It is also proved that patients with CGD associated with Helicobacter pylori with high concentration of pepsinogen-1 (hyperpepsinogenemic) are more resistent to eradication therapy, especially with high titres of Helicobacter pylori in stomach mucous membrane.
