Vvedenska V. Criminal and Procedural Guarantees of Exercising the Crime Victims' Right to Legal Assistance

In the dissertation the criminal and procedural guarantees that provide the realization of victims' right to legal assistance are analyzed. The circle of subjects granting the legal assistance among the crime victims is determined, the legal nature of participation of subjects granting the legal assistance at different stages of a criminal procedure is specified, and the necessity of granting free legal assistance to a number of categories of crime victims is justified. The propositions of the investigative and court practices improvement, perfection of the valid criminal and procedural legal rules of granting the legal assistance to crime victims and provisions of the draft of new Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine are justified and formulated.
